A music industry veteran for over 25 years, Robert began his career as a writer/artist/producer. He produced albums for Mercury, A&M, Columbia and Buddah before beginning a six-year tenure as Director of Talent Acqusition for Chappell Music, where he worked with Eric Clapton, the BeeGees, Pink Floyd, the Police, Elton John, R.E.M., Sammy Cahn, Jule Styne, Doc Pomus, Thom Bell, and Linda Creed. Following his stint at Chappell, Bob became VP of A&R for HME/CBS Records, where he worked with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Patrick Simmons (Doobie Brothers), Gino Vanelli, Megaforce Records (Anthrax, Metallica, Raven), John Palumbo and Matt Bianco (Basia). In 1985, he opened his own company, which produced worldwide hits with Celine Dion, Alice Cooper, Jennifer Rush, 38 Special, Deep Purple and more. In 1991, he became East Coast Director at MCA Music, where he had success with Michael Bolton, Jeremy Jordan, Barbra Streisand, and Eternal, whose album reached ..2 on the British charts with sales of over 3,000,000 units. His writers ranged from Alan Rich (Whitney Houston), Shep Pettibone (Madonna), and Marcus Miller (Luther Vandross) to Alannis Morrisette, Angie Stone, Jr. Vasquez and Lisa Fisher. Bob has recently started a new label with the landmark Greenwich Village club the Bitter End. He served as a consultant at MPL and Capitol Records for Paul McCartney's album Run Devil Run, and is working closely with Luna Sea Records (Luna Lounge), Louis Levin (Michael Bolton), and Frank DiLeo (Michael Jackson, Prince) on their new discoveries.
Won 2 Grammys in 2006, Produced WORLD PEACE ONE (Slash and other major artists) in 2007, Was a music Supervisor on Hughes Capital Entertainment's PICTURE THIS, and recently produced "Shadows of the Night" for Ashley Tisdale.
